Coco

16.09.2014. – Coco newsCoco, the reserved and shy Dalmatian boy rescued from the puppy mill in December 2013, moved on trial adoption in February.  Coco settled in his new home quickly and made close friends with the family’s lively Yorkie girl, Lolka. One month later we signed the adoption contract and we have recently received happy news about him. Thanks to the love and tender care of all the family members, Coco’s lovely and playful character came to the surface. He loves being around his owners and he could have fun with Lolka all day long.  🙂“Dear Dalmatian Rescuers,

Coco arrived into our home in February and has brought lots of joy into our everydays ever since. He knows the rules, which room he’s allowed to enter and he likes taking a nap on his comfy sofa. Whenever he does something he shouldn’t, he goes to his place and gives us that cute guilty look as if he was saying: I know, I know, will you forgive me, please?.
He and Lolka are great friends, they play with each other a lot and they often share their meals, too.
Coco loves cuddling, he enjoys being around us and we are happy to have him in our lives. He learnt the basic commands (sit, down) and he already knows some tricks like turning around and giving his paws, sometimes tries to give both.
He’s grown a lot during the summer and now he’s a really beautiful big Dally boy. We love him! 🙂

Greetings from Coco’s family”

06.03.2014. – Coco news

The letters of Coco’s family speak for themselves. 🙂

“Coco is doing great. Recently, we took him and Lolka on a trip to Tata. He was walking proudly on my left side but then he turned so brave that I could hardly hold him back from pulling me away like a balloon. We all enjoyed the long walk around the local lake and both dogs slept peacefully all the way home. House-training goes better every day. Every now and then Coco steals a few things off the counter but when he gets caught, he has to go to his place and spend some time there thinking about the meaning of life. Oh, he’s simply adorable! We love him so very much! We usually take a walk in the nearby woods. It’s not easy to keep up with him, we run together until we get tired and then he has to slow down and continue the walk on our left side.  Every night he goes to his bed to sleep.  All in all: we love him and each member of our family enjoys the days spent together with this cute spotted boy.”

Coco found a wonderful home, where he is surrounded by lots of love and attention – just like all his brothers and sisters rescued from that terrible puppy mill. Happy ending. 🙂

10.02.2014. –  Coco went on trial adoption

Coco stayed alone after his four siblings began trial adoption in their new families. Luckily, he didn’t have to wait long. A nice family applied to adopt the cute puppy and as we went through their questionnaire, we thought it was time to take the next step. After the first meeting we were quite convinced that soon we could sign the trial adoption contract and next time they also brought their little Yorkie lady to see how the two dogs behave with each other. Coco is a friendly and flexible dog who adapts easily to new situations after a short time. Just like an average Dalmatian puppy he has lots of energy and his adorable character amused his applicants immediately. Everything went just as planned during the second “date”, the two dogs got along very well and thus Coco moved to his future forever home today afternoon. He is vaccinated and microchipped and just like his siblings, he has already forgotten the neutering and the stitches were removed a few days ago. He is a healthy puppy, who waited eagerly for a family that will surround him with love and attention. Now his dream is coming true. We are glad that he was given the chance to live a whole and happy life of a family dog. Keep your fingers crossed for Coco and his new family.

07.01.2014. – Coco – Dalmatian boy, 3,5 months

Coco has similar features to his brother, Cliff, but only on the outside. He is a rather shy puppy, who likes playing alone. He easliy becomes more reserved, when we approach him. This is due to the maltreatment that he and his sisters and brothers had to experience every day in his previous home before we rescued them. He was the smallest and thinnest male among the puppies and his head was full of wounds when he arrived into our care in the beginning of December. Thanks to the quality nutrition and the calm environment, he put on several pounds during the past weeks and he’s become the largest boy in the litter. He is a great shape and base on his huge paws we assume that he’s going to be a big male.

Coco often chooses to play alone, away from the others and if he manages to grab a tennis ball he guards it with all his powers and doesn’t want to let it slip out of his paws. He takes his time to open to the world, he tends to growl at things that he is uncomfortable with. Otherwise he has a lovely and smart character, he walks through his puppy days happily in his fosterhome. A little fear is still there when meeting people but he’s progressing well. He’s learning to become a fully house-broken dog.

The ideal home for Coco would be a family house, where he can roam in the garden freely, then go and sleep inside anytime he wants to. Coco has two combined vaccinations, he will receive the one agains Rabies in the middle of January. He is microchipped, dewormed and healthy. Coco is looking for a home from our organization. He can be adopted after neutering with an adoption contract signed after previous meetings.
