We received news about Pötyi. Many of you have offered help and kept your fingers crossed for the Dalmatian lady to find a loving family. Her previous owner lost his home and couldn’t take this whole-hearted spotted lady with him.
Pötyi was waiting in a fosterhome among other dogs to get a new chance from life and a nice home, where she can get all the love and care she deserves.
With our help in mediation, her advertisement was seen by a family, who has owned Dalmatians before and thus have experience with the breed. Thanks to volunteers offering help in transportation, Pötyi could move to her new home within a few weeks.
It didn’t take her long to get used to her new environment. She accepted the family’s cats as friends, she watches everything that happens in the kitchen, likes rolling on the carpet and falls asleep happily after the walk and dinner.
Pötyi is a living example for the fact that older Dalmatians can easily adapt to a new home and be adopted without any problems. They are able to give and get love in return from the people, who welcome them in their lives.
