Last weekend we participated on the annual PetFest festival. Our rescue Dallies attracted people like magnets and made them smile. Shy and brave children asked us politely if they could caress the dogs and we said ‘of course’.
The dogs enjoyed the attention and Szonja opened to the people a lot easier than usually. However, we protected her from the curious crowd to keep her more at ease.
We met some volunteers of the National Animal Police, this time in person. Our cooperation started six months ago when we were notified of the Dalmatians in a puppy mill in East-Hungary. Thanks to their professional help we were able to rescue 13 dogs from that terrible place. Szonja and Zoé greeted them happily. Zoé joined our team with her candidates.
The Husse pet food company invited our dogs to take a few photos and in return we received free dog food samples from their wide product range. We are thankful for the gift in the name of our rescue buddies, as well.
We would like to say a huge thankyou for all the organizers. We all had fun that day and we hope to be there next year.
