Foltoska, the 4-year-old Dalmatian male needs a new home! – Mediated dog to be rehomed
There’s a long way behind Foltoska. 2 years ago he walked into the garden of a family in Debrecen. They named him “Boti” and fostered him until he found a new home. We advertised the dog and a few months later a family applied for him. So Boti moved to Miskolc to his new home, but last December he ran away from there, too. Around Christmas 2012, a family from Tiszaluc gave him a place and asked our help to find the owners.
It turned out that Foltos is a smart and experienced guy, who didn’t wait for the owners to take him for walks. He did it by himself on a regular basis. He opens doors as a magician and he tends to run away when he lacks attention. Therefore he is chained sometimes at his temporary home, because he would hurry off whenever they open the gate. Though he always returns, this trotting alone in the world is no good for any dog.
Foltos is recommended for a family with a family house, where he’s allowed to go inside freely, because he doesn’t really like the cold weather. The house should be secured by a massive concrete base and has an adequate height that he can’t jump over. A large kennel with enough space to roam could also be useful to avoid him skipping through the open gates.
Foltos behaves dominant with other dogs, therefore we recommend him as a single dog. He’slooking for an experienced owner, who would take him to a dog school and help his socialization.
Foltos is friendly with people, he has lived with children in his previous family, gets along well with them.
Loves cuddling and giving love.
His fosterhome can’t cover the costs of his care. Our organization offered support but the best would be if Foltos found a sweet home where he gets all the attention and there’s enough time/money/energy and patience to train him and provide him sufficient physical and mental excersize.
Vaccinated, dewormed, healthy. He’ll be microchipped an castrated, soon.
