11.04.2020. Bim is not looking for a home!
Due to the current coronavirus situation, Bim’s family have decided to suspend his adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
03.2019. Bim is looking for a new home – 4,5 month-old mix (male, mediated)
Bim was born in his current family from a German Shorthaired Vizsla mother (was spayed later) and most likely a Dalmatian father. The puppies arrived through Cesarian birth but their mom refused to care for them in the beginning, so they were hand-fed by their owners. Surrounded by the love and care of their family, the puppies soon began to thrive.
Despite the rough start, Bim has grown into a healthy, strong guy and he enjoys the everyday puppy life with his brother, Pötty (Spot). Playful, likes cuddling and loves human company. He is a cheerful, vivacious, smart boy with a strong mind – in case he gets bored, he’s likely to get up to a little mischief. Energetic and attentive pup, demanding regular – mental and physical – activities, training and long walks.
If you are interested in Bim, it is important for you to be aware of what it takes to own and train a puppy. The responsibility to teach him everything: how to behave well inside the house, basic obedience, how to walk nicely on a leash and naturally, a stabile incoming. Learning all these takes time, energy and patience from the owner. Visiting a dog training school is strongly recommended: learning together and building a strong and loving bond for a lifetime can be a wonderful experience for both the dog and the owner.
Bim likes meeting other dogs and he needs regular play-and-social time with them. He could easily become the new best friend of your dog. Gets along well with children: can be recommended for families with older children, only if they have the time, energy and patience to deal with both Bim and the kids. Not recommended for families with young children due to his giddy nature.
Bim’s Vizsla-heritage brings a strong hunting instinct: any mobile thing can catch his attention. He currently lives with cats and bunnies, he doesn’t hurt them, doesn’t show any agression towards them, but they can only stay in one room under supervision. Haven’t had a chance to stay alone together.
Bim is microchipped, vaccinated (4 combined), regularly dewormed, healthy young dog. He can be adopted after neutering. We recommend him to a family with a house and a garden – only if he is allowed to go and sleep inside anytime he wants to. He can also be adopted to a flat, with long walks more times a day.
